There is a highly sophisticated channel of communication within each of us called the NERVOUS SYSTEM. It is comprised of two systems. The CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (CNS) and the PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (PNS). The Brain in the CNS is the Central Processing Unit (CPU) responsible for transmitting sensory information throughout your entire body. The transmitting channels are the Spinal Cord and the PNS nerves. These transmissions require POWER and the older we get, the more we replicate the same transmissions. Our CPU becomes accustomed to these run offs and they require far LESS power to produce. Hence the term, MUSCLE MEMORY. Our Metabolism or what I refer to as our, “Fuel Pump” is switched into a “Reserve” mode by the CPU to supply fuel to the body in an “Overdrive” mode. This is a transmission feature that allows an engine to run at a much lower RPM for any given speed. The result is far less fuel consumption required. At TheraCise, we introduce a myriad of new transmissions for your CPU to process. This will kick your Fuel Pump into high gear and pull surplus fuel from your “Fuel Abundance Tanks” (FAT) all over your body. We will perform multiple tasks and compound exercises to the likes you haven’t seen. The more new transmissions, the more POWER required. We have revolutionized exercise so that every person regardless of age, weight, strength, muscle size, or experience, will benefit as they maneuver through life with less stored FAT and greater ease. After you purchase your TheraCise session you’ll first be receiving a free preliminary health assessment as well as movement screening. This is for us to get to know your strengths and weaknesses, your fears and desires and your hopes and aspirations. We take this information as well as age, body type, medical condition, quality of life and level of ambition to construct your very own GAP (Goal And Performance) Plan. Our system is designed with tips and tasks to perform in addition to your TheraCise sessions. Think of us as not only as your accountability partner but a place to show off your overall health and fitness improvement as well as your new and exciting passion for life.

WHAT WE TRAIN.

1 – Mind-Body Connection—–Central Nervous System

Welcome to your CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. We are going to open up communication throughout your entire body. There is a network of channels that will be stimulated which will allow for quicker reactions and more efficient movement. Your CNS is the most amazing part of your body. It is the Tech inside of you and it’s not only responsible for everyday motion but it has it’s own memory. When we perform new movements that your body doesn’t know, it takes a lot of fuel, hence fat burning, to accomplish them. Get ready to unleash your potential and challenge your will, because training your CNS, is training your capabilities.

2 – Balance & Coordination—–Vestibular System

Welcome to your VESTIBULAR SYSTEM. The most under developed and under appreciated system in fitness. This is what children develop at the playground when they do summersaults, hang from the monkey bars and swing on the swings. It’s like having a gyroscope and an altimeter in your head that regulates your body’s position in space and time. This delicate inner ear sensory system coordinates movement with balance. Vertigo, dizziness and motion sickness all stem from a conflict between visually perceived motion and vestibular sensed motion. They are all attributed to a weak vestibular system so that’s why it’s so important to train.

3 – Strength & Power—–Musculoskeletal System

Welcome to your MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM. Combining bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints, this system utilizes all of them when moving and being active. It is our inner frame and hardware so it’s important to learn the stresses and limits as we train for strength and power.

4 – Pulse & Breath—–Cardiorespiratory System

Welcome to your CARDIORESPIRATORY SYSTEM. Blood being pumped by the heart carries oxygen and nutrients to your body’s muscles while taking carbon dioxide and waste products away from the muscles. Breathing transports the oxygen through a system of tubes into our lungs which diffuses it into the bloodstream. Our training will utilize this system which will greatly improve your overall health, fitness and well-being.

5 – Feel & Be Better—–Endocrine System

Welcome to your ENDOCRINE SYSTEM. You may hear that people exercise more for their mind than their body. There is a collection of glands that produce hormones which are specialized proteins that regulate bodily functions. Metabolism, muscle function, growth and development, sexual function, sleep and mood are just a few examples. REAL FITNESS is the development of you as a whole, into becoming a happier, fun-filled, love life, confident and successful you. In everything you do.
